CBGG is hoping to organise again this year a series of speaker meetings as it has done in past years. Initially this will have to be virtual meetings on Zoom as we cannot yet organise anything face to face in line with government restrictions.
Our first speaker will be Colin Wilson, who is a trustee of Blackwater Valley Countryside Trust, and the creator of the website Blackwater Valley Nature Walks – Blackwater Valley Nature Walks (please follow the link here to find out more about the website and Colin’s wealth of local knowledge). He will be talking about what inspired him to set up the website and highlighting many of the places and things in the area where we live that continue to inspire him. The talk will take place on Tuesday May 18th at 7.30 in the evening.
The meeting will be hosted on Zoom. The talk will last 40 minutes, and there will be opportunities to ask questions afterwards. If you think you might be interested, then let us know and we can send you the link and brief instructions so that you can join and enjoy. email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Further meetings will hopefully follow later in the year.
